Terms and conditions for purchases of Original Artwork and Giclee Prints from Heather Maunders

Original Paintings:
Original watercolour paintings are worked mainly on acid free, 100% cotton rag, watercolour paper (Arches or similar quality) and are available to buy where indicated in the galleries. They can be sent to you framed, mounted only or unmounted. If you would like any further information before purchasing an original painting please email or telephone me to discuss details.

Commissions:
Commissions for paintings are welcomed - please get in touch to discuss your requirements, with no obligation. I can work from your photographs, eg a pet or source reference material for the painting. I can paint to any size, and once we have discussed your preferences I will be able to give you a quote for the finished work or offer advice based on your ideas and budget. A 25% non-returnable deposit is required upon agreement of a commission contract.

Print Specifications:
Limited Edition Giclee prints (500) are available for most artwork and will be supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity. The print dimensions will be the same as the original painting and may be purchased either unmounted or single mounted with backing board and wrapped in cellophane. Unless stated Limited Edition giclee prints are printed on to archival grade paper and buffered to combat acid attack, which may occur if prints are exposed to air pollutants. Prints are produced using archival quality pigment inks and tests have shown that the colours will last 70 - 80 years.

Greetings cards and Postcards: AVAILABLE SOON
All greeting cards and postcards are printed onto 300 gsm smooth white card. Greetings cards remain blank for your message, are complete with envelopes and protected by a clear plastic sleeve.

Ordering online: AVAILABLE SOON
To order online, simply select the purchase option you require from the dropdown menu and click the "Buy Now" button. Follow the instructions for purchase through the secure Google merchant. You can pay using most major credit cards.

Ordering by post:
Please send your payment in GB pounds (cheque, money order or bankers draft), address and details of your order to Heather Maunders, Victoria House, 61 Ely Road, Little Downham, Ely, Cambs. CB6 2SN UK. Your order will be sent once payment is received and cleared.

Dispatch:
Orders will be dispatched when payment has been received and cleared. This will be confirmed by email normally within 7 days. If your order is not in stock, then I will inform you by e-mail.

Delivery and postage - Originals:
On UK mainland, Framed or mounted original paintings will be sent by Royal Mail Parcel Post insured. Unmounted originals will be sent via Special Delivery™ . To international destinations originals will be sent unmounted, unless other otherwise requested, by Airsure and insured.

Delivery and postage - Prints:
In the UK mainland mounted prints will be sent Royal Mail Parcel Post uninsured and unmounted prints sent by Royal Mail 1st class postage. To international destinations unmounted prints will be sent via Royal Mail Airmail.

Delivery and postage - Cards:
Cards will be posted to UK destinations by Royal Mail 1st class and to international destinations by Airmail.

Packaging:
All items are securely packed and bubble wrapped to protect from damage in transit.

Returns and Refunds:
I hope you will be delighted with your purchase. If, for whatever reason, you are unhappy with your purchase when you receive it, and wish to cancel your order, you are entitled to a full refund within seven working days of purchase provided that the goods are returned to me in their original packaging and in their original undamaged state. Please ensure that the goods are insured for the full purchase value on return, as it may not be possible to offer a refund or replacement if they are damaged during the return postage. Once the item has been returned, I agree to refund the original purchase price in full.

In accordance with international copyright law, copyright of all works displayed and sold on this site remains the property of the artist Heather Maunders. No copying of the work in any form, for any purpose, private or commercial, is allowed without prior agreement in writing from the artist. Unauthorised reproduction of any image will be treated as copyright infringement and legal action will be taken. I retain full copyright in all my artwork, commissioned or otherwise
